Earlier still, as Engineering Lead at TodayTix, I led the integrations platform powering 1,300+ external ticketing partners and burned down a 1,200-defect backlog — some of it 2.5 to 3 years old — while the team continued shipping partner launches.
I am, equally, a daily user of modern AI tools — Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, LMStudio, OpenCode — and I treat them as first-class members of the engineering workflow rather than as a novelty. At Capacity I am institutionalizing these tools into our standard development lifecycle: code generation, code review, architecture brainstorming, RFC drafting, root-cause analysis on production incidents, and the automation work (deployments, runbooks, internal tooling) that used to absorb senior-engineer time. The translation to a balance sheet is direct: less mundane manual labor, faster delivery, and meaningfully lower development cost per shipped feature. As a meta-note that I am proud of — my own personal website, along with several internal projects, was rewritten with AI; I do not pitch tooling I have not run in anger.
I am one hundred percent hands-on. I write code, review pull requests, take on-call shifts, and pair on production incidents at every level I have worked, from senior engineer through VP. I lead by writing things down, drawing box-and-arrow diagrams, and being the technical face to executives, partners, and clients when that is what the moment requires. I hold a Master's in Systems Engineering from Fachhochschule Lausitz in Senftenberg, Germany, and a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
